Why is it that there are sooooo many men out there that are riding by themselves? Every time I see one of you I want to pull you over and give you my number.
I figure that there are a few of the obvious reasons, your wife/girlfriend doesn't like to ride. If that is the case you need to get someone who is interested in what you do. Then there could be the reason that you just like doing the guy thing and not having a rider. There could also be the fact that you just haven't found that special someone to ride with yet.
Well what are you waiting for, go for it! Join Biker Kiss.com and find that special someone out there. This does not mean you have to get married or become a "non-single" man. There are plenty of women out there just looking for a person to ride with and enjoy the day. Who knows where it will lead but what have you go to lose!!!!
i dont feel like it should be a responsibility kind of thing
i have had pillions that want you to go faster and ones that want you to go slower the choice is yours
i usually decide how im going to ride before the ride starts and then ride to the conditions (i have had the kidney punch) if you pick it right it works out great, if you dont, not so great
most of my rides are solo
i wouldnt expect a pillion to enjoy sliding etc
I ride alone because I haven't found someone to ride with me. I'm extremely shy around women, so have a bit of a problem meeting someone.
Well, I don't always ride alone. Last Saturday I took along my 9 year old niece for a poker ride out of Arlen Ness. The kid won a leather jacket with her three kings. I had crap for a hand.
Now if I can just find some hottie who wants to be on the back of my bike (or has her own bike) and doesn't live several thousand miles away.
I thought that if I bought a bike w/ basically the ultimate passenger seat she would be more than willing to go and join "the scene" etc but no. It is kinda heartbreaking but I will never force. It would be great to find a group etc whom has a gal that needs a seat, no strings attached.
Sure, riding alone or just w/ the guys, bangin' the throttle "REGULARLY" is great fun but I actually like it better on the scenic rides if I have a passenger for I ride VERY conservatively so as not to scare or harm.
I just joined BikerKiss, I am in the Los Angeles area. The summer heat is letting up and I am getting ready to ride a lot again... Brad.
As much as we like to have a sweetheart with us, sometimes it's nice to ride without that responsibility. I for one ride completely different when I have a passenger because basically, I am responsible for their safety.
Without a passenger, if I feel the urge to open the throttle or lay the bike over in a hairpin, I can without getting the all so famous kidney punch. Which in all honesty ladies, doesnt help our concentration on what we are doing at the moment.
